Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq extends his hearty congratulations to the new national executive committee of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) following a new election on December 26, 2025.

Governor Abdulrazaq says their election is a vote of confidence in their record as bonafide leaders of the people. 

He specifically congratulates Alhaji Abdulmumin Abdulmalik on his deserving re-election as President of the apex socio-cultural body of the Ilorin people.

"The re-election of the President is a testament to the widespread confidence that he enjoys from far and near, and we have no doubt that Alhaji Abdulmalik and other members of the important body will build on their successes over the last few years, esp the successful completion of the Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari Hub for the good of our people," he says.

The Governor asks Allaah to continue to guide Alhaji Abdulmalik and other members of the IEDPU National Executive Council and give them enduring successes.
