The National President of Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU), Alhaji Abdulmumini Ayo Abdulmalik, has congratulated the Director-General of the Micheal Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies (MINILS), Comrade Issa Obalowu Aremu, mni, on the occasion of his 65th birthday today Thursday, January 8, 2026.

In a statement, Alhaji Abdumalik described Comrade Aremu as a distinguished patriot who has carved a niche for himself in the annals of labour movement in Nigeria.

Alhaji Abdulmalik said that the Union is very proud of Comrade Aremu as a product of  Ilorin Grammar School, saying that he was always happy with the rising profile of the celebrated comrade.

The statement also thanked Comrade Aremu for the good job he is doing at MINILS since he was first appointed.

Alhaji Abdulmalik wished Comrade Aremu a long life and sound health for him to enjoy the fruits of his labour to the fullest.
