The General Manager of UNILORIN FM Radio Station, Mr. Idris Alooma, has congratulated Alhaji Abdulmumin Ayo Abdulmalik on his re-election as National President of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union (IEDPU) for a second term. We also congratulate the newly elected members of the National Executive Council on their emergence.

   In a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday, Mr.  Alooma said he was thrilled by the peaceful conduct of the processes that produced the new executives and commended the IEDPU leadership for fostering unity and progress. He noted that IEDPU, under Alhaji Abdulmumin's leadership, has promoted peace, growth, and development in Ilorin Emirate, highlighting achievements like the commissioning of the IEDPU Hub, induction of eminent personalities into the Ilorin Emirate Hall of Fame, and other significant and impactful projects and achievements.

 Alooma praised Alhaji Abdulmumin's contributions, including peace promotion, support for UNILORIN FM, youth empowerment, and education initiatives. He charged the new executive members to stand firmly with the re-elected President to achieve more for Ilorin Emirate. He expressed their prayer that Almighty Allah guides and elevates the IEDPU leadership.

  He  also commended Mr. Abubakar Imam, Deputy Editor, Unilorin Bulletin, for his outstanding contributions as the immediate past General Secretary and former Public Relations Officer of the union, and congratulated him on his achievements.
