IEDPU Governance

The National Conference is the highest policy making organ of the IEDPU. The conference is usually an annual event otherwise known as Annual National Conference. Membership of the conference is made up of four accredited delegates from each branch of the union(Chairman, Secretary and two members) and all current members of the National Executive Council.

At the centre of policy implementation is the IEDPU�s National Executive Council. Election to the Council hold every two years to get a new team to direct the affair of the union. The president assisted by one national vice president and zonal vice presidents provided leadership of IEDPU business through the national secretary, committees and branches.

The national secretariat(secretary) and three assistance national secretaries) constitute the administrative hub of the union.

IEDPU branches are established in all places of domicile in Nigeria an abroad where there are Ilorin indigenes. Each has elected executive council led by chairman. Group of state branches form zones of the Union.
