Members of the younger generations, particularly those from Ilorin Emirate, have, again, been urged to emulate the newly enrolled Barrister Fatima Bukola Alada by always taking their studies seriously for them to excel in life.
This advice was made by the National President of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union(IEDPU),Alhaji Aliyu Otta Uthman, fsi, while reacting to the emergence of Barrister Alada as the Overall Best Graduating Student at the Nigerian Law School for the year 2021.
In a statement signed by the Union's National Publicity Secretary, Abubakar Imam, Alhaji Uthman said that Barrister Alada has not only done excellently well in her bar examinations but has also made her family and the entire people of Ilorin Emirate very proud.
While noting that whereas many youths of her age are treading the path of ruination through all forms of antisocial behaviours,Barrister Alada has shown the light to her peers and the younger ones by excelling at every level of her fascinating educational pursuit.
Alhaji Uthman said that the celebrated performance of Miss Alada, who is a daughter to a distinguished son of Ilorin and National President of the Physiological Society of Nigeria, Prof. AbdulRasaq Alada, has shown the way the community is going, saying that the youths of the community, who are the leaders of tomorrow, must brace-up for the future, which would be ruled by nothing but knowledge.
The community leader also rejoiced with Prof. Alada and his wife for raising a girl who has become a celebrity for academic and moral excellence and a justification of the fact that investment in girl child can never be a waste.
The Union thanked Allah for the repeated fascinating performance of the younger generations of the people of Ilorin Emirate who have been doing the community proud as he recalled that it was another daughter of the Emirate, Faridah Amasa, whose insistence on dressing in accordance with the dictates of Islam that paved the way for subsequent generations of students of the Law School to reflect Islam in their professional ropes.
Alhaji Uthman, while urging Miss Alada to continue to keep the glittering flag of the Emirate flying, wished the young lawyer a very fruitful and successful career.
